Local students excel in Wyoming State Math Competition

Central Wyoming College hosted the central Wyoming division of the Wyoming State Math contest on April 9th, 2024. Results from the Central Wyoming regional competition are compiled with those from divisions across the state to recognize top students at the state level. 

Results are in, and there are three Fremont County students who placed in the top 10 in the state:

• Aiden Jones (Riverton High School) – 5th pace, 11-12th grade (Class A) division
• Harmony Hardman (Fremont County Homeschool Fellowship) – 10th place, 9-10th grade (Class B) division
• Beckham Jacobs (Lander Independent Math Team) – 4th place, 7th grade division

Congratulations to these students and all students who participated in the math contest!
